Radar Liquid Level Transmitter Solid Long Range Radar Sensor Liquid
benefits
Vertical installation type without medium contact, so it can be used flexibly for different aggressive media, thick liquids, mud, waste water
High temperature fluid compatibility for vertical mount types because no sensitive components come in contact with the fluid
High accuracy due to high frequency pulse waves and precise transit time measurement
Sealing the pressure vessel does not affect performance
farther than ultrasonic
Not affected by surface changes like air temperature, which can cause problems with ultrasonics
How does radar level measurement work?
technology
The device works according to the FMCW method (FMCW = Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave). Electromagnetic pulses in the GHz range are sent to the medium at varying frequencies between 77 and 81 GHz. Since the transmitter constantly changes the frequency of the transmitted signal, there is a frequency difference between the transmitted signal and the reflected signal. Subtract the frequency of the reflected signal from the frequency of the signal transmitted at that time, resulting in a low frequency signal proportional to the distance from the horizontal. This signal is further processed for fast, reliable and highly accurate level measurement
