I.Product overview

The Type “PX X” Plug is a positive plug used in conjunction with the Type “X X” Landing Nipple. This plug might be used to test tubing or to plug tubing to perform repairs or replacement of surface equipment. Equalization is achieved by pulling the equalizing prong from the plug assembly.

II.Structural characteristics

1.The PXX plug and prong Running Tool is a fluid control device that is mounted in a preset barrel (located in a joint) for downhole pressure containment. It can be seated in downhole devices such as safety valves and sliding sleeves with X type working barrel structure.

2.PX plug and prong Running Tool is composed of P-type balance rod, valve cap and XXN lock core.XXN lock core fixed balance rod function; The valve cap is a joint with a sealing hole and a balance hole, which is connected to the lower part of the lock core; The P-type balance rod is a thin rod with a seal and a flow hole.
