III. Structural features:
The alligator clip is mainly composed of a fishing neck, a mandrel, an adjusting nut, a spring, a skirt sleeve, a shaft pin, a claw, a cylindrical pin and a shear pin (or a pin and an auxiliary spring), etc.; the specific structure is shown in the attached drawings.
When the skirt is moved up and down, the paws mounted on it can slide along the cylindrical pin on the spindle and rotate around the shaft pin to complete the opening and closing action; the shear pin (or pin) makes the spindle and the skirt hold the claws Keep in the open position; different clamping force can be obtained by adjusting the adjusting nut to compress the spring. When the shear pin is slammed downward (or the weight release pin of the tool string is lowered), the skirt will move down under the action of the spring force, causing the claws to quickly close and clamp the falling fish.
