They are joined together by a straight or pre-crimped rod with welded edges or knuckled edges. The rods connecting the spiral wires usually have a larger diameter than the spiral wires, adding durability to the structure. The spiral wires fastened on the crimped rod wires can ensure the belt not to creep to either side.
