Waterproof breathable valve
In modern industrial and daily life applications, waterproof and breathable valves play an indispensable role. It is an extremely special type of valve with unique two - way functions. It can tightly block moisture, such as rainwater, fog, and water vapor, preventing them from entering the interior of equipment, while also allowing air to enter and exit freely without obstruction.
The waterproof and breathable valve is exquisitely designed in structure, mainly consisting of key components such as a waterproof and breathable membrane. The waterproof and breathable membrane is a microporous membrane, and the size of its micropores is precisely designed. Gas molecules, such as oxygen and nitrogen, can smoothly pass through these micropores. However, due to the surface tension of liquid water, it cannot penetrate these micropores. The outer shell part takes on the important tasks of protecting and fixing the breathable membrane, and is installed to fit the outer shell of the equipment.

Application fields:
1.Smartphones and tablets. These devices may come into contact with water vapor during daily use, such as when used in humid environments or getting soaked by sweat. Waterproof and breathable valves can prevent water vapor from entering while ensuring the normal operation of functions like audio and barometric pressure sensors.
2.Sealed sensors. The breathable valve can maintain air pressure balance between the inside of the sensor and the external environment, ensuring accurate measurements by the sensor. Meanwhile, it prevents interference from external water vapor, dust, etc. to the sensor.
3.Automotive headlights. Heat is generated when the headlights are in operation. The breathable valve can balance the air pressure and expel water vapor, preventing fogging inside the headlights and thus avoiding any impact on the lighting effect.
