Waterproof breathable valve
The waterproof and breathable valve has diverse and practical functions. It can balance the air pressure inside and outside the equipment. When the air pressure inside the equipment fluctuates due to temperature changes, such as heat generated during the operation of electronic devices, or due to altitude changes, like those during the operation of aviation equipment, the breathable valve can adjust in a timely manner to prevent problems such as deformation of the equipment housing and damage to the seals caused by abnormal air pressure. At the same time, it helps with heat dissipation. It allows fresh air to enter the interior of the equipment to carry away heat, which greatly improves the heat dissipation efficiency and extends the service life of equipment with high heat dissipation requirements, such as high - power LED lights.
Precisely because of these characteristics, waterproof and breathable valves are widely used. In smartphones and tablets, they can prevent water vapor from entering and ensure the normal operation of audio and barometric pressure sensors. Outdoor cameras rely on them to ensure air pressure balance in the lens and prevent water vapor condensation from affecting shooting. Automotive headlights use them to balance air pressure and expel water vapor, avoiding fogging. Engine control systems use them to protect the ECU. Distribution boxes rely on them for waterproofing, moisture - proofing, and air pressure balancing. Sealed sensors use them to maintain air pressure balance and avoid external interference.

Application fields:
1.Engine control systems. It protects the electronic control unit (ECU) from water vapor erosion and ensures its normal operation under different ambient temperatures and air pressures.
2.Distribution boxes: It prevents rainwater and moisture from entering the interior of the distribution box, avoiding short - circuits of electrical components due to moisture. At the same time, it allows the exchange of internal air with the outside world, preventing damage to the distribution box caused by air pressure differences resulting from temperature changes.
3.Outdoor cameras. Whether they are surveillance cameras or action cameras, they need to be waterproof when used outdoors. The breathable valve can ensure the air pressure balance inside the lens, preventing water vapor from condensing on the lens and affecting the shooting effect.
