M3 - M24 High Tensile Strength Key Locking Inserts For Thread Repair
Information
The bolt socket is a kind of fitting with great strength. The style of this kind of fitting is quite peculiar, and it looks very much like a closed spring. There are many specifications of bolt sockets, but the main ones circulating in the market are the more common ones. The installation method of the bolt socket is very particular, and some tools are still needed during the installation process.
1. It is especially suitable for the environment requiring high strength internal threads and can be effectively anti-seismic and anti-drawing;
2. Compared with wire screw sleeve, it can enhance the strength of threaded hole more effectively;
3. The bolt sleeve is mainly made of stainless steel, and the specifications also have the metric inch size;
4. Simple to use, easy to install and operate.

Advantage
Installation method
1. Drilling hole: The drilling depth should be greater than the length of the bolt sleeve. Note that the size of the tapping drill is larger than the usual number.
2. Thread tapping: The size of the tapped thread should correspond to that of the external thread of the bolt sleeve.
3. Installation: Screw the bolt sleeve into the corresponding threaded hole, and require the bolt sleeve to be lower than the surface of the workpiece.
4. Lock key: Use a suitable tool to press the bolt fixing key of the bolt sleeve into the bottom hole.
Installation tool
Tools include: drill bit, wire tap, plug gauge.
Bolt screw sleeve drill bit: When drilling the threaded hole, the drill bit of the plug screw sleeve should be larger than the diameter of the internal thread hole of the plug screw sleeve and smaller than the diameter of the external thread of the plug screw sleeve.
