Hybrid Ceramic Bearing Detail:

The hybrid ceramic roller bearings have stainless steel rings and ceramic rollerss. The rings are made from AISI440C, 304 or 316 stainless steel. The ceramic rollers are made from ZrO2, Si3N4 or Sic. We can also offer our hybrid ceramic bearings with PEEK or 316 stainless steel cages. The hybrid ceramic bearing rollerss has the advantage as below:

The raceway of the ceramic self-aligning bearing is spherical, and its center of curvature is consistent with the center of the bearing. So the inner race, the ball, and the cage can rotate in the center of the bearing. Because of its small contact angle, the corresponding axial load capacity is also relatively small. The shaft and housing center are more suitable.

1. Long life. The ceramic rollers can be added without any grease, that is to say, even if the grease dries out, the bearing can still operate, so as to avoid the occurrence of premature bearing damage caused by the grease dries out in ordinary bearings. According to foreign media tests and feedback from some customers, the service life of bearings after using ceramic rollers is 2-3 times that of ordinary bearings.

2. High temperature resistance. The coefficient of thermal expansion of the ceramic roller is small. In a high temperature environment, the bearing rollerwill not expand due to temperature, which greatly increases the operating temperature of the entire bearing. The temperature of ordinary bearings is about 160 degrees, and the temperature of ceramic rollers can reach more than 220 degrees.

3. Insulation. Bearings with ceramic rollers can insulate the inner and outer rings of the bearing. Because ceramic rollers are insulators, using ceramic rollers between the inner and outer rings of the bearing can achieve the insulation effect. This enables the bearing to be used in a conductive environment. This is also the biggest advantage of hybrid ceramic bearings.
