The Electronic Weft Selector board PSO000260000 is a control interface to operate:
- 8 linear motors for electronic weft selector;
- 1 linear motor for the left controlled LENOMAT;
- 1 linear motor for the right controlled LENOMAT;
Its operation is based on a 16 bit microprocessor interfaced with the CAN BUS system with all other units
inside or outside the electric cabinet. This processor is combined with 128 KByte of Flash memory, 128
KByte of static RAM memory and 1 Kbyte of serial EEPROM and provides for the management of:
- 12 LMD18245 drivers (H bridges for linear motor control) with controlled current outputs from 0 to 3A,
with the following characteristics:
- thermal protection;
- overcurrent protection;
- mains voltage: max. 60V.
Using two connectors on the Electronic Weft Selector board, you can plug in an additional board to manage
EWC cutting.
The +48 power voltage for the LMD18245 drives is generated by rectifying the 36Vac voltage from the
secondary winding of a special three-phase transformer 400V-33V/90V (code PSO140535000) and
conveying it to the board by means of the DIN 41612 connector, from which the power supply voltages
+24S (stabilised) and +12C for the CAN BUS section are also obtained.
In addition, there are:
- 12 0…5V analogue inputs for the reading of an equal number of Hall sensors;
- 9 digital inputs for reading the ENC0/ENC7 and STRB synchronisation signals coming from the absolute encoder;
- interface with the CAN BUS line;
- RS232 serial interface for updating the software and for programming the movement profiles of the
linear motors;
- 2 led to indicate the operational status of the board.
