Description

Cable decription

1.1What is FR Cable

The typical structure of refractory cable is the cable with an additional refractory layer between conductor and insulation. This structure enables the cable to withstand 750 C, 90 minutes of fire resistance test.

1.2 Benefits of FR Cable

In fire accidents, fire-resistant cables can operate normally in a certain period of time.

While maintaining the integrity of power lines and the normal operation of safety equipment, fire-proof cables have won valuable time for personnel evacuation.

Construction

Conductor : Plain annealed copper solid or stranded (class 1 or 2) conductor complying with BS EN 60228

Refractory layer:Double-layer phlogopite belt

Insulation : 90°C cross linked XLPE insulation complying with BS7655 Type GP8

Sheath : PVC. Colour – Black. Other colours are available to special order

Standards:

International: IEC 60502, IEC 60228, IEC 60332, IEC 60754

China: GB∕T 12706.1-2008, GB∕T 19666-2005

Other standards such as BS,VDE and ICEA upon request

Applications

Laying in room ,tunnel ,cable trench ,and pipes.

Technical Specifications

Rated voltage: 0.6/1kv

Maximum Conductor Temperature: under normal (90 ℃), emergency (130℃) or short circuit no more than 5 s (250℃) conditions.

Min. Ambient Temp.: The cable shall be pre heated if the ambient temperature is below 0℃

Min. Bending Radius: single core cable 20(d+D)±5%

Multi-core cable 15(d+D)±5%
