Principle of resistance welding machine (portable spot welding machine):
Resistance welders weld metals together. It consists of a welding head that holds the metal and applies pressure and a welding power supply that outputs current. Resistance is resistance against the direction of travel, similar to the heat caused by friction during braking. Similarly, when the current flows between two metals, the resistance of the metal itself and the resistance
of the contact part will produce heating phenomenon. Resistance welding uses this joule heat and pressure to weld metals together.
