1. Foam Core

Foam cores are thermally laminated or bonded using the best PES available:100% enclosed cells, reticulated, cross-linked, in the form of rolls or blocks. The foam is mechanically processed and carefully shaped.

2. Coating Process

The foam core is then coated with our various polyurethane formulations through an airless machine. During spray, polyester or other (polyamide or aramid) fabrics are inserted into the coating. Finally, a high wear-resistant PU and soft composites with hardness of 75-95 ShA were obtained. Thickness suitable for use, from 1 to 50 mm. We offer a range of colors on request, in addition to the usual signal colors.

3. Fitting & Accessories

After the foam core is sprayed, take it to the finishing department and take out the tools to be processed. Accessories are installed in the most convenient way: glued, bolted, and even soldered. Buoys and fenders can be marked with your design/logo at simple request.

All mechanical structures and dimensions are demonstrated and calculated during the designing stage. Our ultimate goal is to provide professional design and cost-effective one-stop solution for our clients. All design philosophy and technical proposals are discussed creatively in collaboration with our clients and in-house experts. Jerryborg Marine often works on sensitive and discreet projects (e.g. MOD and Military) and we guarantee full confidentiality.

For many years, Jerryborg Marine has reached many projects not only for unique and never-before-seen parts but also for material pre-production. Jerryborg Marine is highly knowledgeable and experienced in the field of flexible composite materials both in energy absorption and in buoyancy control. Our in-house advanced facilities and experienced specialists help our clients with Rapid Prototyping to make their designing idea into reality. We innovate and develop prototypes combining different characteristics for marine docking & mooring products. 2002 QINGDAO JERRYBORG MARINE HARDWARE CO., LTD WAS ESTABLISHED

Qingdao Jerryborg Marine Hardware Co., Ltd was established in 2002 and mainly specialized in producing marine hot forging parts and casting parts like shackles, kent shackles, swivels, anchors, etc

2006 PRODUCED THE FIRST MARINE AIRBAG

Qingdao Jerryborg Marine Hardware Co., Ltd began to produce marine rubber airbags.

Within a short time, Jerryborg has diversified into metal parts manufacturing and rubber products. we gained an extensive knowledge and expertise in marine products since then.

2007 PRODUCED THE FIRST PNEUMATIC FENDER

in the year 2007, we introduced new production technique and produced yokohama type pneumatic fenders. The high quality pneumatic fender won good market reputation in Chinese docking market.

2008 ESTABLISHING STRATEGIC COOPERATION WITH MRICI

MRICI is Marine Chemical Research Institute, which is a member of
China National Chemical Corporation, who produce the best quality polyurea coasting in China.

with development of closed cell foam and polyurea, Jerryborg Marine started to produce foam filled fenderand become reliable supplier of Olympics Games for 2008 Qingdao Olympic Sailing Events.

2010 EVA FOAM MOORING PRODUCT LINE WAS COMPLIETED

besides foam filled fenders, we are also able to produce EVA foam mooring buoy, navigation buoy, yacht foam fender to provide our clients full production line.

2012 A NEW GLOBAL BRAND NAME

Going with the flow of world marine product market, Zehan aimed to provide turnkey solution for marine docking and mooring. a new brand——Qingdao Jerryborg Marine Machinery Co., Ltd was incubated with new logo, which endow us a larger mission.

2015 JOINT VENTURE OF ANCHOR MANUFACTURING COMPANY WAS ESTABLISHED

Jerryborg drafted rubber fender industry standard 《HG/T5327-2018》, which is higher than ISO17357-1:2014 standard, it will be carried out in April, 2019.

III. Manufacturing

Providing critically safe pneumatic fender systems, Jerryborg Marine has a strong focus on manufacturing all major components in-house ensuring highest quality and reliability at their own production facilities. All manufacturing process is done strictly in accordance with ISO17357-1:2014 standard & specifications, drawings, calculations and quality requirements, in order to ensure a safe and reliable yokohama type marine rubber fender system.

Our rubber fender manufacturing facilities in Qingdao has an extensive proven track record of producing high quality pneumatic rubber fenders. With experienced technical staffs, we can manufacture pneumatic fenders, Ocean Guard Fenders, Ocean Cushion Fenders, Donut Fenders, and Buoys, mooring buoys, etc. An extensive quality control of raw materials, production processes and the final product is part of the daily operations at our manufacturing facilities.

IV. Testing & Quality Control

Questioning and inspecting staff's working process and efforts are very important when striving for high quality. Not only do we hold our factory, production processes and finished products to the highest standard, testing every single pneumatic fender we produce is a vital part of our daily work. Designing, Manufacturing and testing of all our products is done in accordance with ISO17357-1:2014, PIANC 2002 and AISC. Consequently Jerryborg Marine is not only following the latest testing standards of the industry, but also leading in advancing them to further and higher level.

Testing Equipment

Our certified labs constantly inspect all rubber raw material used for the production of our high quality pneumatic rubber fenders in order to verify compliance with material requirements for each single order.

Performance verification testing is usually conducted at the point of manufacture, often under the supervision of an independent and qualified third party or our clients, such as BV, CCS, ABS, LR, GL, KR, IRS, NK, DNV, which is also part of our responsibility – and we know that our products stand up to surveillance. All of Jerryborg Marine’s testing equipment and processes meet the most severe industry standards as well as the revising requirements set forth by PIANC.

Maintenance is an important topic for the end-user and operators of a ports or terminals. Especially in harsh and corrosive conditions, the maintenance of fendering & mooring systems is of significantly importance. As part of our after sales service, we offer an Inspection and Maintenance Program for the pneumatic fenders. A maintenance regime and proper training of staff ensures a long service life of the fender systems. Regular inspection of all parts of the floating marine fenders can be free from potential damages at an early stage and allows for quick action.
