The CTS (N, B) series permanent magnetic drum magnetic separator is ideal for wet separation of fine particles of strongly magnetic minerals or for the removal of strongly magnetic minerals mixed with non-magnetic minerals. This machine is capable of continuously feeding and discharging ores, and it boasts a large magnetic field depth, a substantial working gap, and a high processing capacity.

The working principle of this machine is as follows: when the ore slurry enters the magnetic field region, the strongly magnetic minerals are adsorbed onto the surface of the drum, while the weakly magnetic and non-magnetic minerals are thrown off and discharged. The strongly magnetic minerals that are adsorbed onto the surface of the drum move along with the drum's rotation and are taken out of the magnetic field region to complete the separation process.

Additionally, the same drum can be equipped with three types of troughs: downstream trough (CTS), countercurrent trough (CTN), and semi-countercurrent trough (CTB) to meet different separation needs.

The downstream trough is best suited for roughing and concentrating of ore with a particle size range of 0~6mm.

The countercurrent trough is ideal for roughing and scavenging of ore particle size 0~0.6mm, and is also helpful for heavy medium recovery in the coal preparation industry.

The semi-countercurrent trough is most suitable for roughing and concentrating of ore with a particle size of 0~0.5mm and is especially beneficial for ore concentration with particle sizes ranging from 0~0.15mm.
