Electromagnetic vibrating feeder is a kind of equipment for implementing automated flow operation. Electromagnetic vibrating feeder is used to evenly or quantitatively feed materials from storage bins or other storage equipment to receiving equipment. It is an essential equipment for implementing automated flow operation. It is used for quantitative or continuous supply of block, granular or powdery materials. It is widely used in mining, metallurgy, coal, electricity, chemical industry, food, glass, refractory materials and other industries.
Electromagnetic vibrating feeder is divided into open type and closed type. According to the installation method, it can be divided into several types such as hanging type and desktop type. Electromagnetic vibrating feeder has a simple structure, convenient operation, no lubrication required, low power consumption; it can evenly adjust the feeding amount; therefore, it has been widely used. It is generally used for loose materials. According to the performance requirements of the equipment, the pressure of the material on the trough should be minimized during the configuration design. According to the requirements of the manufacturer, the effective discharge port of the bin material shall not be greater than one-fourth of the trough width, and the flow rate of the material shall be controlled at 6-18m/min. For materials with large feed volumes, a retaining plate of sufficient height should be installed at the discharge point at the bottom of the silo; in order not to affect the performance of the feeder, the retaining plate must not be fixed on the trough body.
