The compressed air produced by the compressed air compressor carries a large amount of water, oil and other impurities. If water vapor enters the compressed air line, the condensed vapor can cause oxidation, corrosion and damage to the production line equipment.
The point of maximum water vapor density in each gas depends on its temperature and pressure. When the density of water reaches a certain temperature and working pressure, the temperature is the dew point. That is, if the air cools below the dew point, water vapor in the air can appear in the form of water droplets, causing problems on the production line.
