Hypertension Test 100 Test Kit(Renin) for Automatic immunoassay analyzer
Renin is a proteolytic enzyme released by paraglomerular cells of the paraglomerular apparatus (also known as the paraglomerular complex).
Renin enters the blood through the renal vein, catalyzes the conversion of angiotensinogen (in α2 globulin) secreted into the plasma by the liver into angiotensin I (10 peptide), and increases the production of aldosterone. Increased renal tubular reabsorption of NaCl and water Converting enzymes in blood and lung tissue degrades angiotensin I to angiotensin II (8-peptide), which can be hydrolyzed by aminopeptidase to angiotensin III (7-peptide). ). These three types of angiotensin have biological activities, among which the biological activity of angiotensin II and III is stronger, and the concentration of the latter in the blood is lower, so the biological activity of angiotensin II is the strongest. Angiotensinogen and converting enzymes often exist in plasma, and the release of renin is a key condition that determines the concentration of angiotensin in plasma.
Renin, angiotensin, and aldosterone work in a linked system called the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. The release of renin is regulated by many factors. When the arterial blood pressure decreases and the circulating blood volume decreases, the sympathetic nerves are excited, the receptors of the densified plaques are excited, the blood pressure and blood flow of the afferent arterioles are reduced, and the afferent arterioles are stretched. Attenuated stimulation activates the stretch receptors in the vessel wall and promotes the release of renin from parabulbar cells. At the same time, the glomerular filtration rate decreases with the decrease of renal blood flow, and the concentration of sodium ions flowing through the dense plaques decreases, and the dense plaques are activated, which in turn promotes the release of renin from paraglobular cells. Parabulbar cells are innervated by sympathetic nerves, sympathetic nerves are excited, and renin release is increased
