Clinical Significance: TT4 can reflect the secretory function of the thyroid gland and are important indicators for the detection, diagnosis and monitoring of thyroid diseases.By detecting thyroxine in the blood of dogs and cats, evaluate thyroid function, detect hypothyroidism in dogs and hyperthyroidism in cats.When thyroid dysfunction is suspected, TT4 and FT4 should be tested simultaneously.

Intended Use

This product is used for in vitro quantitative detection of Total

Thyroxine(TT4) in serum/heparin anticoagulated plasma samples.

The method can be used for TT4 samples over the range:5-33pmol/L

Auxiliary diagnosis of thyroid disease

The test has to be performed on the POClia fully auto analyzer.
