GFUVE Current transformer clamp meters are equipped with rigid jaws of made of ferrite iron. The jaws are individually wrapped by coils of copper wire. The Amprobe Q20B current clamp probe measures AC or DC current without touching or interrupting the circuit. The clamp has two jaws that fit around a 1.0" (20 mm) conductor to convert a high-current signal to a low-level millivolt signal so it can be read by a testing device.
