Pure Zirconium Crucible
Description:
Zirconium is a metal with strong corrosion resistance, which can form a dense oxide protective film almost instantaneously, which can cope with almost all acid corrosion. Pure zirconium crucibles have high purity (the content of zirconium is above 99.6%) and high melting point (up to 1855°C), which is an ideal material for melting other metals.Compared with nickel crucible and platinum crucible, pure zirconium crucibles have better mechanical strength at high temperature, better thermal stability, and higher cost performance.
Application:
Pure zirconium crucibles are often used as fluxes and fluxes in chemical processing, and are the most effective crucible materials for fusion using sodium carbonate or sodium peroxide. They must be used in an inert gas environment, which prolongs the life of the crucible and yields higher quality metal crystals, virtually eliminating sample contamination. The outstanding thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance of pure zirconium crucibles make them widely used in smelting industry, chemical corrosion resistant equipment and high temperature superconducting materials.
