Higer Thermal Conductivity W80Cu20 Tungsten Copper Alloy Rods For Welding
Tungsten Copper Alloy Rods are an alloy composed of tungsten and copper. The copper content of common alloys is 10%~50%. The alloy is made by powder metallurgy, which has good conductivity, heat conductivity, high temperature strength and certain plasticity. At very high temperatures, such as above 3000 ℃, copper in the alloy is liquefied and evaporated, which absorbs a lot of heat and lowers the surface temperature of the material. Therefore, this kind of material is also called metal sweating material.

Advantages of Tungsten Copper Alloy Rods
- It combines the advantages of tungsten and copper, and has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, arc ablation resistance, high strength, high specific gravity, good conductivity and thermal conductivity, easy machining, and transpiration cooling. Due to the high hardness, high melting point and anti adhesion of tungsten, tungsten copper alloys are often used as projection welding and butt welding electrodes with certain wear resistance and high temperature resistance.
Applications of Tungsten Copper Alloy Rods
- Tungsten copper alloy has a wide range of applications, mainly used to manufacture the contacts of high-voltage electrical switches resistant to arc ablation, rocket nozzle throat lining, tail rudder and other high-temperature components, as well as electrodes for electrical processing, high-temperature molds and other occasions requiring high conductivity and thermal conductivity and high temperature use.
