High Conductibility Low-Loss W80Cu20 Copper Tungsten Welding Rod
Copper Tungsten Welding Rod is an alloy composed of tungsten and copper. The copper content of common alloy is 10%~50%. The alloy is made of powder metallurgy and has good conductivity, thermal conductivity, high temperature strength and certain plasticity. At very high temperatures, such as above 3000 ℃, the copper in the alloy will liquefy and evaporate, absorb a lot of heat, and reduce the surface temperature of the material.

Tungsten-copper alloy can withstand high temperature and high stress of nearly 2000 degrees. It has the characteristics of high melting point, high hardness, burn resistance and good adhesion resistance. The electrocorrosion products have high surface finish, high precision and low loss.
Applications of Copper Tungsten Welding Rod
- When the high-voltage vacuum discharge tube is working, the temperature of the contact material will increase by thousands of degrees Celsius within a few tenths of a second. The high ablation resistance, high toughness, good conductivity and thermal conductivity of W-Cu alloy provide necessary conditions for the stable operation of the discharge tube.
