Products Introduce:
Keylocking Thread Inserts are solid inserts that are threaded both internally and externally with keys attached to the top of the insert.
After the insert has been screwed into the parent material, the insert's locking keys are driven down into the tapped threads of the parent material during installation creating a positive mechanical lock that prevents rotation due to vibration or torsion.
Performance of Keylocking Thread Inserts
Types of thread inserts:
Heavy Duty Key Inserts: Feature a thick, heavy-duty thread wall and are suitable for most applications.
Thinwall Key Inserts: Have a smaller OD thread size than standard and heavy-duty keenserts. These parts are ideal for use in tight spaces where less pull-out strength is acceptable.
Solid Key Inserts: These key inserts have a solid base and are ideal for relocating a drilled or tapped hole.
Small series: M2-M4 threaded inserts with 2 key lock.
