Mixer and Aggregate Conveyor Description of structure and working principles

1 Mixer

- Keeping high-speed shafts synchronous, decelerated by closed type planetary gear

The mixer consists mainly of the mixing drum, gears, mixing vehicle, hydraulic discharge gate, automatic lubrication, air pressure seal, etc.

2 Aggregate conveying, storing and measuring

The aggregate conveying, storing and measuring device consist of the batcher, slant belt conveyor and intermediate aggregate hopper.

Before mixing plant operation, loader will discharge the aggregate into the batcher storage. During plant operation, automatically-controlled

cylinders will open the discharge door to discharge the aggregate from the batcher storage bottom into aggregate measurement hopper

for measuring and batching. The horizontal belt conveyor and slant belt conveyor will then send the confected aggregate into the

intermediate hopper for storage. The cylinder will open the gate to discharge the aggregate from the intermediate hopper into the

mixer during which is operating.

2.1 Batcher

- Rough, fine weighing, increase weighing accuracy.

- Microwave system for moisture measurement with automatic compensation (user optional)

- Automatic correction of over measurement and automatic compensation of under measurement.

The batcher is provided with four storage hoppers for four types of aggregates. The aggregates are discharged from bottom discharge gate into

four weighing hoppers for measurement. The measured aggregates are directed to the slant belt conveyor through the horizontal belt conveyor.

2.2 Slant belt conveyor

-Closed conveyance, dust-proof and spillage-proof.

-Automatic warning from off-track running

-Slot type front tilt roll with automatic centering to avoid off-track running.

--Walkways on both sides to facilitate maintenance.

- High performance electric idler with mechanical non-return features.

The slant belt conveyor sends upwards the aggregates from the horizontal belt. These aggregates are then sent into the intermediate

hopper through an extra long flat belt.
